Settlement and Sharing Out the Estate

Once the competent authorities have released the deceased person’s estate, E. D. Genealogia pays any taxes and liabilities (inheritance tax, condominium expenses, funeral expenses, service bills, …) so that the heirs can be paid their share of the inheritance, net of any expenses.
If the inheritance includes any personal property (such as jewels, works of art, furniture, or items of value in general), or real estate, these will be managed by the Company, who will ask for an estimate of their commercial value and with the heirs’ consent, sell them.

During this phase, the trust already created with the heirs is consolidated, and the heirs are regularly informed about the activities carried out by the Company in their name and on their behalf.
