After a brilliant Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Genoa and various work experiences abroad, Eleonora began working in the world of probate genealogy where she has now gained almost twenty years’ experience and innumerable successes.
E.D.Genealogia was created thanks to Eleonora’s great passion and dedication for her work.
Since 2019, Eleonora is a recognised Genealogy Expert at the Italian Committee of Professional Experts.

Désirée Moggia
Genealogist
Désirée’s interest in marketing and international affairs started when she was in high school and was consolidated during her Degree in Interlinguistic Mediation Theory and Techniques at the University of Genoa, when she also spent a semester in Toulouse (France) and deepened her knowledge of French. Thanks to her heightened curiosity and great resourcefulness, Désirée entered the world of probate genealogy, where she has developed and consolidated her command in managing cases and customer relations.

Riccardo Ferrarini Finetti
Genealogist
After completing classical studies, Riccardo obtained a diploma from the Specialist School of Archival Science, Paleography and Diplomatic Editions of the State Archive in Genoa, while also starting a degree at the University of Genoa in the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, Archives and Libraries. Riccardo has always been very interested in genealogy and has developed ten years’ experience in genealogical and historic research and has not only published articles about cultural periods but has also written three books about local history. Since 2011, thanks to the support of local authorities, he has organised genealogy courses and seminars to increase public awareness and encourage people to discover their origins, introducing participants to the basic notions needed to discover and make the most of available documentary sources in Italy. Since 2013, Riccardo has collaborated with the Diocese of Genoa and Chiavari as concerns research into personal records and citizenship recognition for Italian emigrants to South America in the XIX century; in 2019 he was appointed historic expert in the beatification case of Don Nicolò Daste. Riccardo is an Italian genealogist registered at the Genoa State Archive since 2017.

KATIA OTTONELLO
Administrative manager
After graduating at the G. Casaregis Technical Institute of Business Management in Genoa, she developed her working experience in a consulting company, where she mainly dealt with payroll and internal accounting. Motivated by a strong curiosity for the world of genealogy, she joined the team of E.D.Genealogia to offer her contribution in administration and management. She is passionate about gardening and loves taking long walks in the mountains
